What User doesn't like about The Treasure Of China Takeaway:
I ordered food and received chips that were overcooked. When I called to complain, they denied touching my order and refused to provide a refund. It's frustrating because how can I determine if the chips were like that without tasting them? Now they won't answer my calls. I would advise avoiding this place at all costs. View all feedback.
I ordered mushroom and chicken chow mein for my wife, who confirmed they could make it, and I opted for fried rice with sweet and sour sauce. We paid and returned to the hospital. Once we opened the containers, it was a nightmare. My wife removed the lid from the chow mein, revealing a brown mess that looked disturbingly inedible—like something out of a horror film. The fried rice was made with precooked chicken strips, and the consistency was odd, overly seasoned with soy sauce. When I unveiled the sweet and sour sauce, it looked like some type of jelly and had an unsettling glow. I couldn't help but imagine a sci-fi scenario where a doctor comes to rescue us from this culinary disaster. I called to complain, stating that this was the worst Chinese food I’ve ever encountered, and all I received in response was a quiet acknowledgment. It felt like a complete waste of time and money. Perhaps they should consult the chef from the restaurant next door to learn how to actually cook. I strongly advise against visiting this place; it’s truly the worst. The Shade of China deserves to be forgotten, never to be encountered again.
The service was awful, and they only accept cash. It seems like the owner might be avoiding taxes. I definitely won’t be coming back.

£16 for 1 part sweet and acidic huh, roasted rice, bbq ripen and brewed toast, not exactly worth for money. I don't think it was even brewed on the toast, so it was in the ground £ 3,60 for some roasted brot with sesam seeds on. The...sweet and acidic sosse was a gloud, slimy part, barely a huh and it was barely edible. ribs were ok, which is generous and the fried rice was very stoney and terrible dark. After the start on the prawn toast I called to ask if they forgot the prawn to establish first few minutes on the handy that I was complaining since she thought I wanted a job. I get the impression she pretends that her English was even worse than it was actually, as she understood me perfectly when I placed the order. said that was there style, yes, to tear off her customers. I read a review about this box afterwards and someone said they were there for 20 years, that must be either the kitchen staff or someone with no quiet buds. I am disappointed that I returned to the dead for a refund.
