This is a great bar with lots of TVs for sports, a good selection of drinks, great pool tables, and friendly staff. I had a lovely Christmas dinner here last week with my rugby team.
I ordered a three-course Christmas meal and was severely disappointed. The only somewhat redeeming part of the meal was the cheese board, although it seemed like they didn't make it themselves. The prawn cocktail was terrible and made me worry about getting food poisoning. The turkey smelled fishy and was damp as if it hadn't defrosted fully. I think I'll just stick to beer from now on.
The Old School House is incredibly welcoming and the food is fantastic. I recently enjoyed a Christmas dinner there and they were excellent hosts.
This is our fourth time in Aberdeen (coming from Germany), and we always choose this place. The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back—thank you for everything! Highly recommended!
