My husband and I recently moved to the area and after asking a few neighbors, we were told that the best local restaurant had to be the Spider's Web. I hadn't made a reservation as we unexpectedly found ourselves free on a Saturday night. When we entered the very busy dining area, we were warmly greeted by a smiling staff member who was happy to find us a table. The menu had a wide variety of options and the food was delicious. I ordered the oven-baked chicken and it was the best meal I've had all year! Despite the crowd, our food arrived quickly and was beautifully presented. My husband and I want to give a special thank you to the waitresses Janey and Bex, as they were exceptional. They were always willing to help and had a friendly attitude. We are excited to spend many more Saturday nights at our new favorite spot. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Elaine and Derek at table 3.

The food was good, but the tables were too close together and the restaurant felt crowded in the lounge tonight - we were packed in like sardines!

I recently visited The Spider's Web with some friends. The food was fantastic, the service was excellent, and the cocktails were top-notch! I want to give a special shout out to the waiter with the round glasses, who was very welcoming and attentive to all the customers. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Overall the food was good but the bad service we received would stop us returning. At one point my husband and I were the only ones in the lounge area so had to listen to rude, uninterested staff who were swearing and speaking about customers who had been barred. I had to go up to the bar 3 times to get cutlery, drinks and remind them of a side order. To top it all of the bill was incorrect and we had been overcharged. Very unprofessional behaviour

We 've had many delicious meals over the years at The spiders but the Croque Monsieur this evening was simply not up to scratch. The bread hadn 't been toasted and there was no bechamel sauce. What I had, was two pieces of warm white bread with some melted cheese on top and a bit of ham in the middle. When I ordered the Croque, I was asked which one I wanted. Was it the fajita one or the panini one? It appears that neither the chef or the waitress know what a real Croque Monsieur is. Disappointing, but won 't be put off going back and will know not to order the Croque.
