Went to Slains with my wife on our Christmas night out in town. Have always loved the styling of this place. It was very busy but we did manage to get a table after just a few minutes. My wife was feeling a bit merry after a large glass of Rose wine, only her 2nd drink of the night. What User doesn't like about Slains Castle Aberdeen:
the personal was beautiful and welcoming. 45 min wait for dinner without explanation why. a meal served cold with potatoes. 10 minutes later, the other meals arrived. server was apologetic. when we arrived, it seemed that the staff didn't know we had booked and gave us a table that was already reserved. I love this place. it has a lot of character. the staff is very polite. a very pleasant place to go for a nice drink.
Always a nice cooled place to drink in the evening. it has a very unique mood. had that for the first time, it was good for the price, would eat here again!
They have now risen twice from the coats and this place is amazing. it's a must for me. back in the oktober and a new first visitor is with us.
I wanted to visit this place because the dracula is one of my favorite books. a really gothic mood. love the bookshelf toilet doors!
Nice atmosphere. But found a pube like hair in one of my shots. Not cool.
