I am shocked that this restaurant has a five-star rating. We ordered takeout last Friday night, and it was far from impressive. The salt and pepper ribs lacked flavor, the chicken pieces seemed frozen and store-bought. My chicken with black bean sauce was bland and lacked any hint of black bean paste. My wife's sweet and sour chicken was neither sweet nor sour, just flavorless. This was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Apologies, but I cannot recommend it.

I had a fantastic meal at Ricebox. All of the food was delicious and hot, but my favorite were the vegetable noodles. The portion sizes were very generous and I appreciated that most of the dishes were packaged in cardboard instead of plastic. The staff was friendly and the prices were reasonable. I will definitely be returning!

I have ordered delivery from this restaurant a few times and have been impressed by the delicious food and affordable prices. The big munchies box is huge and only costs around 10 pounds, making it a great deal. The fried items are not greasy, which is a plus. They offer a variety of curry, noodle, and rice dishes that are all cooked perfectly and very tasty.

It looked closed and maybe I was there before opening time but I rang and someone answered and took my order. Takeout of delicious Singapore Noodles was ready in minutes and handed over at the door. A very generous portion which was 2 meals for me. Can’t wait to go back.

Had a very nice meal today for the first time. The reviews are correct, it is very good and we will be back. The curry sauce was very dark but was lacking in flavour. I would definitely try again. My wife had Malaysian king prawn and said it was the best Chinese food she'd had in a very long time. COVID rules were also in force and well implemented.
