Went out with my husband and 2 young boys. Last day of the Easter holidays and thought it would be nice. Have previously seen good reviews so decided to go for the Sunday carvery. They were not doing the carvery so ordered Hunters chicken, the lettuce was limp, the chicken was over cooked on 1 side and the other side looked like jelly. Had a great meal in the four mile inn this morning. the service was fast and very friendly.

Eating is always hot and fast served, workers are always happy to help and so beautiful that they have a good old chat away with them! Eating and drinks are really good value and if there are any problems that personal like to help! we love the fact that we can take our pup, even if we eat! there are designated seats for those who do not want to be with dogs, so all around very accommodating!
Very nice and clean, but very only 2 other in the dining room the meals were all very good, but I couldn't find a word about the meal times of the renter art and wise
Lovely wee Pub. FOOD IS AMAZING. When I visited it was packed really busy staff were racing around sweat dripping off them yet the food was still top notch just because they were busy their standards didnt slip. Staff were nice attentive. Only down side was it was boiling!!! Hot summers day outside and they didnt have any windows open already a small space with limited ventilation and the heat was torture. The radiator in the bsr was on!! They have a number of Tvs dotted about mainly playing news channel but No volume! The booth seats had their own small tv which looked to be playing a quiz show! Better!!!but again no volume. The price was very reasonable for what you get. Nice sized portions main dessert large coke was only £15.33 I regularly stay at travelodge across the road for work and will definitely be using this place for dinner everytime and will encourage my colleagues to aswell. In for lunch with my daughter, ordered on the app which was super quick and easy. Food arrived after 10 minutes, it was hot and tasty. Wendy was an absolute superstar, she was looking after all 3 areas of the pub on her own (no easy task! but remained friendly and helpful throughout, was very impressed. Would definitely recommend if you want tasty food with great service. Will be back again soon.
