I always go in here with the intention of only getting a few things and come out with so much more. I can’t resist. All of their food is so appealing to the eye. What User doesn't like about Livoti's Old World Market:
Mind blowing. On Uber eats you pick a sub (which is already over priced). Then it’s an extra $3 to choose bread, $1.25 for the lettuce, $1.25 for tomato, you guessed it, $1.25 across the board for onion, mayo, And SEASONING. They either don’t know, or are complete thieves. $32 half turkey sub? I thought Tony Soprano died… View all feedback.
I really enjoy the food at this place, but I can't help but notice that the cashiers always seem upset. It might be worth reminding them that they are in customer service and being paid for it. A simple "hello" and "thank you" would go a long way in improving the experience.
Today, when I tried to use my gift card, the cashier informed me that it was invalid and asked if I had received a receipt with it, which I did not. She attempted to run the card at another register, but the “invalid transaction” error persisted. As a result, I had to pay $25 for six mini cupcakes and a few chocolate chip cookies, leaving me with a useless gift card. On my way back to the office, I regretted not asking to speak to a manager, but the overall experience was unacceptable. The staff should have consulted with a supervisor instead of denying my use of the gift card, as if I were trying to fraudulently use a dead card. It was only a $15 card, and there were no customers waiting behind me. I plan to inform my coworkers about this experience and will never visit Livoti’s again. I'm confident that my colleagues, who number in the hundreds, will also choose to boycott this establishment in the future. There’s a ShopRite nearby with better food and customer service, anyway.
The food was average and overpriced. We ordered two full subs from the deli counter, and the staff could not have been less welcoming. They took our order, made the subs slowly, and handed them to us without saying a word. On a positive note, the cashier was nice.
I ordered a turkey hero with lettuce, tomato, and extra oil and vinegar, along with mayo. The sandwich was big and tasty, but it was missing the lettuce and tomato, and I'm not sure it had the extra oil and vinegar as requested. I'm sorry to give this low rating.
I ordered catered trays for a Christmas celebration, which included rolatini, chicken parmesan, chicken marsala, mussels, and antipasto. I would highly advise against it. The chicken marsala tasted like it came from a can, with small pieces of dry chicken drowned in a sauce that lacked any wine flavor. Everything was overly saucy, and the chicken was dry. The rolatini was just a mushy mess. The mussels were tiny and overcooked, swimming in a watery sauce. The antipasto was acceptable but nothing special. I’m giving it 2 stars just because I’m not completely heartless.
