Best fried chicken in many many years, cooked to order, spiced just right, and so moist inside. Macaroni salad too sweet for my liking, but the baked beans are really tasty and not your run of the mill beans. I highly recommend George's for your fried chicken cravings! View all feedback.

Horrible fried chicken... no taste. And worse chicken sandwich... They put 4 limp chicken fingers on a roll. Fries were just as bad. Nice people, but they don't know what they're doing. This place deserves negative stars. View all feedback.
The fried chicken here is exceptional—far superior to that of the Colonel!
The fried chicken was terrible—completely lacking in flavor. The chicken sandwich was even worse; it had four soggy chicken fingers piled on a bun. The fries were equally disappointing. While the staff were friendly, they clearly need to improve their skills. This restaurant deserves less than one star.
The fried chicken is fantastic, and the newly introduced tacos are incredibly tasty!
This is the best fried chicken I have ever eaten! We used to load up our boats at a Tidewater marina with Chicken George's chicken before heading down the Sassafras for the weekend. That chicken was so delicious, we enjoyed it all weekend long and I still think about it. My brother and friends absolutely loved it too. I was always sent on the chicken runs because everyone knew I could get the best chicken from the best cooks at Chicken George's.
The food is fresh made to order and the chicken is amazing. Everyone always friendly. And you can still get fried gizzards and liver there, worthy of an old school chicken joint.
