Contribute Feedback What James P likes about Cake Cakes:
I was in a March to help Aberdeen introduce the presiding Bishop, u know the guy that did the Royal wedding. We received so much hate from people in town, but cake cakes donated free cupcakes to the bishop as well as some friends n I that stuck around to hear from them. Their cupcakes were great and they r very friendly people. Absolutely love these people for the compassion they show. Thank you cake cakes. View all feedback.
What Keith K doesn't like about Cake Cakes:
Always have a excuse for a bakery with nothing to sell. They are always conventlly fresh out. Last time out of almond flour, are you a bakery ? Not solace I will go back. View all feedback.
The restaurant was closed despite the hours listed both online and on the door. There was no notice or explanation; the lights were off, and a child was seen playing in the window. I suspect they might have been baking in the back, but it's difficult to say for sure. If you're not open for business during your posted hours, it can be quite misleading. If you're only offering consultations or limited services, that should be clearly indicated on the door.
I visited the town in March to help Aberdeen welcome the presiding Bishop, the same one who officiated the Royal wedding. Despite facing some hostility from certain locals, Cake Cakes generously offered free cupcakes for the Bishop and for a few friends and me who stayed to show our support. Their cupcakes were amazing, and the owners were extremely friendly. I sincerely appreciate their kindness. Thank you, Cake Cakes!
Outstanding service as always! Their buttercream and caramel remain some of my absolute favorites. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a little joy in their life.
They made my wedding cake. It was a perfectly done white cake with buttercream frosting and a caramel filling. Everything they make is fantastic. They really know what they are doing.
Would advise anyone wanting to order specialty pastries to avoid this place. We walked into this business in December and asked about a certain pastry my husband absolutely loves. We spoke to the owner herself and she told us she would love to make it when needed. I wanted to surprise my husband for his birthday in February. I tried contacting the store in January, wanting to give enough notice, left messages because my calls were never answered (from my work phone) I decided to call from my cell phone, the owner answered, was picking up her kids from school and promised to call me back. She never returned my call. I had to contact someone else, two days before his birthday. Luckily, she was able to pull it off. I would think the owner would have the decency to let me know she couldn't fulfill my request, instead of flat-out ignoring my calls. I would've complete understood if too busy to accommodate my order, too. Any type of communication would've solved this.
