Was looking for a nice place to eat after the RV Show in Abbotsford. Happened to see the Mexico Sabroso restaurant listed in our Entertainment book and fave it a try. It had some very good reviews are it gad been taken over by new owners in November 2016. Well the good reviews were RIGHT! Our party of 4 were Shona able and drink orders were taken right away! What User doesn't like about Mexico Sabroso:
Definitely a C- experience - calamari was chewier than toffee, tamales was only so so. Have tried this place three times and unfortunately was disappointed on each occasion. View all feedback.
Went in on a Sunday, he was closing but politely helped me order a meal that his kitchen could still make. I'm a vegetarian so he recommended tomalies. Price was a little high 17$ but the meal was delicious, fresh, and very filling. Definitely my go to on a lazy Sunday. It is recently under new management. Clean inside. Thank you<br/
Fresh and delicious Mexican food, lots of vegetarian options. My wife is a vegetarian and my sister-in-law is Mexican, and I found the food here delicious. It was fresh with a reasonably large order and lots of options to choose from. I visited it in January 2017.

I was craving Mexican and stopped by for a snack on a whim. The complimentary salsa is fresh with lots of flavour and tortilla chips are house made. I was hoping to try some vegetarian enchiladas but had a communication problem with the waitress so settled for vegetarian nachos. They came with beans, mozzarella cheese and various grilled vegetables including peppers and mushrooms. The side of guacamole was much tinier than in the menu photo, disappointing since it was really tasty. Service was friendly, but English was definitely a second language. I had to resort to the point and smile technique with the menu. All in all, I would stop back in again.
This was a nice place. Nice, fresh food, but it did have small portions for the price paid. Still, they gave me a margarita (again, small) on the house because it was my birthday, which was very nice of them.
