Waited 30 minutes to order one $5 fillup. Never got to even order. Had to stand up for older lady who waited for a poutine because the young guy working gave the last of the gravy to someone who ordered after her, and didn 't make any more. When I brought this issue up he got lippy with me and said, I know. I 'm waiting for gravy . So I said, MAKE SOME! Two other people were waiting for large orders and couldn 't believe he hadn 't even begun making more gravy. One guy in front of me was ordering two $30 orders and he was told it would be 20 minutes for gravy but the others had been waiting a half hour. He was clueless and wouldn 't leave the cash register to do anything. The girl finally went to the back and started making it herself and that 's when the guy goes to the back to help . Four customers came and left when they saw the snail 's pace and waiting customers. They take your money pretty quickly but are slow to serve you. I left after that realizing I 'd be waiting at least a half hour. Two people working and the young lady was working her head off while the young guy played dumb. Next time in, I told the manager(Sandy? , who gave me a coupon for free food for feedback. I go on line to do the survey and it demands a receipt. I have NO RECEIPT because I never had a chance to order. What an absolutely horribly run establishment. I 've been going there for 50 years and it was never this bad. I gave two stars simply because the one young lady was working like crazy trying to help everyone while the other fellow spent his time being rude and looking stoned. So??? What about this survey I need to do to get a measly free side order? The manager must have known I had no receipt from the previous visit as I said, I didn 't even get a chance to order!!! And they are always out of menu items. Too bad it 's like this because choices in New Liskeard are very limited for take out food.
We ordered the 12 piece feast all white meat. Large fries medium gravy with 2 medium macaroni salads. We drove to the lookout on highway 11..could not eat the chicken. We ate the large fries and gravy only. Drove back to New Liskeard and got back $32. Plus change..so our fries and gravy cost us 14.00 not impressed. Chicken was not fit for human consumption. End of rant.
Ordered a wicked zinger box meal, with gravy in place of the side salad. They forgot the gravy and used the incorrect sauce on the burger. I'm not sure how they could have messed up such an easy order that badly. Not impressed, and won't be returning any time soon.
Great service and food. Only what was missing were the napkins. Looks like they're out.
Very disappointed with this place. Twice now I have gone into town to stop at this place while passing on the hwy. They have told me I would have to wait 45mins for them to cook some chicken. I told them on my last stop that how can they run a fast food business when customers have to wait that long for the main thing they sell ! This is unbelievable ! Will NEVER waist my time here again. I lived in this area for close to 20 years and never had issues like this ever. Wonder if it has a new owner ?
