What Liana doesn't like about Au79:
Really beautiful cafe to visit in Melbourne, the indoor plants are stunning and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Service was good and food was pretty good. Our coffees were lukewarm which was an unfortunate part of our experience. We were a little disappointed that they don't do the pastry board anymore : and that the menu has limited options and is very basic. However, the quality and quantity of f... View all feedback.
The place to brunch with 10 adults, all with different nutritional needs and preferences and a small person who wants to walk around space! The restaurant has plenty of space, which enabled us to have a remote area, although it was...quite busy. The staff was attentive and helpful and the dishes were delicious and generous. Great place for a beautiful brunch!
We had a big family meeting for Brunch. The place is tempting due to the decoration of green, and it is also spacious. The waiter was friendly and accommodating. We booked a table where our toddler could walk around without disturbing other customers. I enjoyed the great vegetarian breakfast, which appealed to the eye and taste bud; but the cappuccino was lukewarm. Otherwise it was a great experience! I would also recommend it for functions.
Large local cafe with a super full-day breakfast menu. Cake is also great. Easy parking under the building. Very easy to park and do some work, as there are many tables and is usually not full.
Au79 is an amazingly large airy warehouse with plants to fit anywhere with beautiful decor. Coffee is great as the food and service had the kale corn frit 8/10 the crispy skin salmon on crushed peas 9/10 pastries are delicious AF the...only problem is the parking area around this area, but worth visiting as I did many times.
Good service presentation of food in a great light filled space with lots of greenery that is not plastic.. The 9 of us who went to this cafe would have enjoyed the whole experience if not for the bread. While it was tasty the...crust was so hard all of us had difficulty cutting through with a table knife. I had basic scrambled eggs on toast that came 20mins after I'd finished my coffee. Being hungry frustrated by the effort of battling the toast I swept the eggs off it used my fingers to separate the crust from the rest. Those who had a dollop of this a drizzle of that atop the bread with accompaniments of 3 different colours/flavours also had trouble. This was despite some pureed topping moistening the toast. Suggestion: Invest in some steak knives to your cutlery inventory. Otherwise, some customers risk acquiring a wrist injury.
