Manor Bar Restaurant - Abbeyleix

We couldn't recommend Abbeyliex Manor Hotel enough. Our wedding was not what we originally planned for Kovid, but our day turned out better than we could ever hope, thanks to Alex and his team at Abbeyliex Manor. Our 25 guests and we had the most fantastic day! Everything was so perfect. The meal, the room layout and the staff could not be better. Thanks again to Alex and his team. Elizabeth Stephen

Absolutely highly recommended Abbeyleix Manor, we had our wedding here in November. We cannot praise Alex and his team enough, our was a last minute booking as our original hotel let us give up. For a small wedding of 25 guests Alex and the team for our needs and the room was absolutely fantastic. The food was brilliant and punctual, the rooms were great and all our guests had a great day. I was open last night at bar/restaurant at 6:00. Was there only table and we ordered. While waiting for food went to use toilets. They were dirty, full of toilet paper. I used the toilet. No apology that toilets are so open. . The staff only serves as mask cover during serving. When the food came, the mash, the vege and the filling were cold. I said to an employee who picked it up and brought it to the kitchen where it brought microwaves and never apologized. The steak, which was also ordered, was completely uncooked in the middle. If a kitchen is crazy busy, I can understand how some things can go to tables not to standard, but there were only 2 orders from our table and no one else. In any case, it won't come back. I felt very unhygienic glad I had my sanitizer with me.

Lovely ,friendly and welcoming hotel. Great food ,breakfast outstanding . Would always stay here when in the area. Thank you to all the lovely team .
