The Rough House - Abbeville

Simple menu of hot dogs. The staff was very helpful. Whether you like hotdog all the way or as they say, girl style. (Chilli in a bungalow and no weenie) The Koleslaw was very good and the house made Hasch sounded good.

I always love to visit Abbeville's historic place. Such a beautiful old town. Husten The house is also a historical part of the square. I'm over for some of the best hot dogs on this side of the east coast. Southern friendly people with service and a home smile. No Yankee attitude here. With so many of our companies purchased by Transplant Yankees, this is still south.

This place is a gem! I 've been coming here for years since I was a child with my dad. We would come and get hotdogs and a bottle Coke. He would always tell me about how back in the day women weren 't even allowed there. It 's one of the rare establishments that has stood the test of time and is a staple on the quaint Abbeville square. It 's got such vintage charm and is a great place for lunch. I got the pleasure of bringing my 3 year old son for the first time recently. We sat up at the bar and had hotdogs, RC Cola, and ice cream. So much fun!
