Despite some shortcomings, the friendly staff and deliciously cooked meals make it a worthwhile visit, especially for a Sunday lunch. With a cozy ambience that straddles the line between a gastro pub and a restaurant and stunning views over the valley, this establishment has potential to be a top dining spot with a few improvements in service and portion sizes. Overall, a lovely experience with room for growth.
Our favourite place. The owners are lovely and make you feel welcome and safe. Can’t wait to return and try the new menu
Our meal was absolutely incredible, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Social distancing system very effective
Lovely experience , we shall be visiting again soon
This was one of the best Sunday lunches I have had out in a long time. The meat was succulent and tasty infused with Rosemary and Garlic, without overpowering the meat. The potatoes and vegetables were flavoursome and cooked just right. The apple and pear crumble was very tasty and unlike many it was light Not heavy, but remained fillingThe staff were attentive without being intrusive Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves
A great meal at this privately owned pub. The owners made us feel very welcome in these challenging times. Covid distancing made the pub feel a little less cozy than it might have been but that’s not the owners fault, just facts. Great night out, Thank you
