Aubergine - ABANO TERME

Very high quality service. Perhaps for the first time I meet a team of professionals (both an amazing restaurant chef and wonderful waiters) who are in love with what they do. The zucchini flowers were crispy, but not dry, but juicy and without a huge amount of flour (I had to try those too). Rabbit meat is very tender, so it just melts in your mouth. Large portions. Everything is excellent!

Me and the kids found this little gem on our trip trough Veneto, Italy. Located in Abano Terme, a few minutes outside Padua, Ristorante Aubergine is so worth the visit (and the money). We absolutely loved the atmosphere, the mixed crowd, the personell that was attentive and knowledgeable. A big extra PLUS for over 50 wines offered by the glass, most from local wineyards. We may come back soon, just for this. We ordered Aubergine turret with fresh tomato, basil, stracciatella cheese and toasted pine nuts Tagliatelle with white lamb ragout and chanterelle mushrooms Suckling pork cooked at low temperature, lacquered with honey and lime Millefeuille with eggnog cream and hot dark chocolate Green apple sorbet with Bas Armagnac
