Food was nicely made and quickly served. the waitress was acting up and did not show much interest. Some drinks were justed added to our bill without our knowledge(which I saw later) and later told to us that credit card machine not working and we...have to pay cash !!!. I was there with a group and had to scrap all the cash from my partner to pay for it. Not coming here. It this just added dirt on our German trip wh... View all feedback.

Went out with my friend and decided to eat something small. Dropped in to this cafe. Sat outside in beergarden because the weather was warm. There were blankets on each sit though. The service was friendly and attentive. The prices are acceptable, middle price level. My meal with shrimps and 2 glasses red wine with sparkling water (Weinschorle) was 17,10€. Not bad. Nice location far from Main Streets. Worth to visiting.
The only reason I'm not scoring 5/5 is because we had to wait quite a long time. So if you're looking for a quick meal this might not be the place. A side from the waiting time. Excellent food and waiters, I would come back here. It has a very cosy atmosphere. We ate a main course had a bottle of water and 2 alcoholic beverages each for 25 euro per person. I didn't find that expensive.
A great restaurant near plenty of other attractions! I ordered the Lemon chicken saltimbocca (something I make from time to time, too) and my wife got her usual margherita pizza. Great beer selection, too! So right next to you is the Domkeller, which is great for a drink, and behind you are plenty of other shops and small cafes. To your.....left?.....is the town square and the Rathaus, and opposite the restaurant a little ways is the Dom itself. There's so much to see and do in Aachen, but the LivingRoom is where you should fill your stomach!
Location very attractive, close to the Aachen cathedral. German food, meat and potatoes, beer. In the good average, to be recommended for tourist visiting the town.
