I had the tuna, beet salad. Big and delicious. Decor inside was like outta of an old Italian movie…nice, cozy, and just enough class. Waiter was funny and very accomadating. Sliced onions were a nice appetizer. They have one table right outside..maybe 2 that were combined. Not sure as a big family was eating. They do close early during the week....so check hours. What Emilie J doesn't like about Shippy's Pumpernickels:
They have an outdoor table but refused to serve us there because they were “too busy” restaurant was 3/4 full. We had a dog with us so we ate down the street at Jobs Lane. Very pleasant. Would eat there instead any day. View all feedback.

Come here if you want a big old glass of german beer
I like the ambiance, older group of people. I had the sizzling steak platter, steak was tough. Many other choices on the menu are very good.
