Wonderful meal at Off the Block! I love trying octopus at restaurants and this one was okay compared to others. The octopus was very chewy rather than supple and buoyant. The sauce in the charred octopus was excellent though! The potatoes were flavorful and soft. I really loved those potatoes and it’s super filling! We also got the all-American burger which was good as well.
Told Stephen I wanted to teach my daughter how to cook the perfect ribeye or aged sirloin on cast iron. He took the time to not only grab the perfect cut, oil for prep, infused butter, and most important taught me exactly how to cook it. Added the watermelon goat cheese salad and followed his steps.....easily the best steak I’ve ever cooked in my life. Can’t thank you enough. Here were the steps
