First timer at this restaurant.. I must say, their Queso Fundido and their hot wings were delish. Unfortunately, their regular Margarita tasted like it had been watered-down. My friend and I were able to change the drink to a Passion Margarita and they were good, thank you Eduardo, our waiter. He was very attentive and courteous. What Tim Meuter doesn't like about Monarca Cantina — Monroe, New York:
Beware of the margarita tree. It was 50 DOLLARS. And the drinks were not very strong so a total rip-off. Would’ve been nice if the server told us beforehand the price or how big the drinks were but my mistake as well for not inquiring. Overall good experience though. The food was good too, especially the guac View all feedback.
We have been going here regularly since they opend at least 2 times a month. We have enjoyed every dish we have had so far even tho the last few times I had the same thing as its so good. Thank you allowing me to customize it. Deff be back soon
I have lived in Monroe for nearly 9 years witnessed restaurants come and go while the majority of them were of no consequence. This restaurant is FANTASTIC and the best in Monroe and nearby. Many restaurants are good at one or a few specific dish’s, but everything I have experienced here thus far has been spectacular. My true measure is how good is it cold and reheated. Everything I have had has passed this test.
Great food, seating was was scenic. Service was great. Food was exceptional
Beautiful restaurant offering indoor and outdoor seating. The service was great. I wasn’t impressed with the food. No basic street taco on the menu, there is a street taco but it has cheese and caramelized onion. Give me some grilled, diced up chicken, cilantro, cebolla, and salsa verde! The drinks were ok but nothing to sing home about. We did order their new Patron tree and it was too sweet for us.
