Fabulous food, great staff welcoming owner Dane. I’ve been there 2x and it has been outstanding. The Meso platter, octopus, salmon mussels are superb! Great vibe, live music on Tues evenings, our server Eric is totally on point so nice! The pic is of the apple tart we had for dessert. We couldn’t help ourselves finished it all. Noisy…cannot have a conversation…really bad music on top of the noise. You need to work on the acoustics. French fries burned and dry, zucchini fritters burned…the worst burger I ever ate …are they qualified to cook in that kitchen? The size of portions, miniaturist. A thin small piece of fish for 30. Overrated and just okay. Came for a second try and Meso is a consistent 2 for 2 with issues. Food was overcooked and dry. Had to send back to be remade. Not running back. Tip: Appetizers are better than mains.
There is no way these reviews are real. I just ate there and I had to leave this review before the taste of canned tomato sauce left my mouth. This place is highly overrated. I had the shakshuka and it was horrendous. It was literally pizza sauce out of a can. The other issue was that the egg was burned and over cooked. Dollar oysters at happy hour 5 to 7 pm. What could be better?????
What a breath of fresh air. We’ve eaten there twice recently and couldn’t have had a better experience either time after a long day of work. The menu had plenty of options, the food was delicious from appetizers to mains to desserts, and the portion sizes were plentiful. We loved the outdoor seating — plenty of space in a great setting, and the service was first class. We will definitely return again soon, and plan to visit their other site in Del Ray, Florida!
