The setting was beautiful and clean however there was alot to be desired as far as service. Waiting staff was irritated and rude from the time we sat until we left. Hot take: best food on Lake George. Plus: huge portions. It’s not on the lake or in view of it; it’s located in an old shirtwaist mill and named for one of the otherwise forgotten female workers.
Best value for money I have had in a long time! We had a great dinner here away from the crowds of Lake George Village. The food was delicious, and the portions were generous. The early bird special menu really is a steal, but even if you order the items separately you would get great value for money. Service was good, and the staff was really friendly. The indoor seating looks nice, but there's also a little patio outside but with screens to keep the bugs out.
Such a pretty place and food was excellent. Going back. Enjoyed the early bird special.
The search for a good dinner restaurant during our weekend visit to Lake George was frustrating…reviews warning of crowds, mediocre food, and unwarranted prices, so we expanded our search to neighboring villages and decided on Lizzie Keays.
