What Walt doesn't like about Hauppauge Palace Diner:
I have no idea what happened to this diner. It used to be our go to diner but lately the food has been terrible. We bought open sandwiches one of the last times we went and the turkey tasted off. We didn't eat it and chalked it up to a bad experience. The next time we got cheeseburgers (can't screw that up) and the onion rings were stale as was the bun for the burgers. Great food. Friendly service. Going here for years. Best Turnips around Suggest you try Breskfast, Lunch and Dinner. They have a new Baker. Yum
A nice place to go and have a good meal that isn't very expensive
Had 2 complete lunches of: matzo ball soup, manhattan clam chowder, lemon chicken, chicken pot pie and rice pudding for dessert. The soups were excellent and the chicken pot pie was GREAT!
