We visited the city with the intention to go to another restaurant (which turned out to be closed this month,) and accidentally in alborada, which proved to be... read more We visited the city with the intention to go to another restaurant (which turned out to be closed this month,) and accidentally in alborada, which proved to be the high point of our day! the restaurant is located at the main boulevard with a beautiful. view of the harbour and the beach. the personal is very friendly, and the cook itself would come to make sure that we are happy at any time. the starter with smoked cod was excellent, the seafood salad was tasty, and the cancer was a joy. the cook even explained which parts we should not miss. as a main dish we had the paella and the fried fish that were amazing! at the end we could not resist trying the homemade desserts and were not disappointed the chef told us that the restaurant was founded by their great grandfather, and we had a nice talk with her about the city and the region. all in all, a very beautiful evening and we definately would come again!

Arroz de bogavante (sand lobster rice broth) is a must try. Grilled seafood costs a bit more but worth the experience. Right on the seafront.
