Contribute Feedback What Taylor Gusler doesn't like about Zack's Hot Dogs:
I’ve been coming here for years and never had any complaints but recently this last visit the lightskin black woman was very rude to another employee in front of me and was very unprofessional. She was trying to call out another employee in front of customers and I work in food service myself and I would never do that in front of customers. Unprofessional and annoying. View all feedback.
Love this place and Travis is the best he is friendly and very attentive we try to go as much as possible
How devastating to learn that all the rumors were true. I grew up in Burlington and like most people that live in the area, Zacks was a regular part of our lives. I moved several years ago and heard about Zack’s being sold. I heard about the level of service dropping. Heard about the chili and the food in general not being as good. Didn’t think it could have possibly gone that downhill that fast but boy was I wrong. Mid afternoon on a Saturday- used to be a fight for a spot in the parking lot much less to get a table. Today there was one diner in the restaurant. We came in to make a large to go order and were not acknowledged when we came in the door and were only acknowledged after standing at the register for several minutes, asking if we were dining in or getting an order to go. We let them know it was a to go order and then continued to stand there. After ten minutes of standing and waiting for our order to be taken and watching one of the girls cooking run her gloved hand through her hair then pick up a hotdog with the same hand, we opted to leave. Boston sandwich shop gladly took our order and were kind and very efficient in getting our large order out quickly. What an absolute disappointment Zack’s has turned into.
Just walked out after standing at the register to order for over 10 minutes just to get weird looks from the workers. All while the girl on the grill was running her gloved hand through her hair while making hotdogs. This used to be my favorite spot in Burlington but since it was sold it's been one awful experience after another.
I use to travel many miles for a good Zack's hot dog. Since the original owners sold out this place is not even worth stopping to get anything but a drink. Worst hot dogs I have ever eaten in my 67 years. Don't waste your money or time.
Overrated and bland food. Hot dogs were rubbery and lacked any flavor, the burgers are slightly better. I don't get all the hoopla and never have.
