Little Horse Lodge - 70 Mile House

My daughter and I stayed at this restaurant for three nights in early October for a mother/daughter retreat.

I have stayed at this restaurant twice and both experiences were fantastic.

We called and a voice message stated they were open Friday and Saturdays from 9-7 pm. We left a voice message. We drove there for dinner and it was closed. There wasn't a sign on the door explaining the closure. There didn't appear to be anyone living or working there. We asked locals since a Canada Post Mail Boxes were located on their property and they said they haven't seen signs of life for months. We didn't receive a phone call back from our message.

When I arrived at the lodge, Lynne personally wished me a happy birthday. During the performance, she presented me with a full-sized birthday cake adorned with my name as the band performed a rendition of "Happy Birthday". I was truly touched by her thoughtfulness. Additionally, Lynne also brought out another cake for a couple celebrating their 27th anniversary. I want to extend my gratitude to Lynne and the entire team at Little Horse Lodge for making my first birthday in my new home unforgettable. I firmly believe in supporting local businesses and I highly recommend Little Horse Lodge for any celebration or dining experience. Lynne, you have gained a loyal customer for life and I will be sure to spread the word about this incredible experience wherever I can.

Wow what a great place, good food & great hosts. Our stay was awesome. The cabins have fridges, electricity and running water. There are flushing toilets & hot showers. The camping area is well treed. Lynne is so wonderful, a straight shooter who does everything possible to make your stay a great one :-)
