Bagicha - 辩喜路

It was my friend's birthday and he decided to give us a party at Bagicha. Food was not very good, pretty average but the price compared to that was really high, quantity was also disappointing. Handi Mutton can be tried here. Prawn dishes are also good. The place is quite classy, which gives you the feel of Bengali Bonedi Culture. They also have a banquet space in open air which they actually rent out for parties..

Bagicha is one of the best food stores nearby. You can get a large variety of foods in this place. Worth trying.

North Kolkata is the older part of the city and it did have a lot of very large home.Well one of these homes the first floor has been converted to a restaurant the ancestors of the original home still live on the top floors.The food is traditional Indian it is good gets very very busy during the Bengali festival season.Staple Indian food good service but love that the original decor has been maintained.

Bagicha , situated in a house with old aristocratic charm is a multicuisine restaurant and you will have to go few steps from Town School More. We have always preferred the Ac section though they have an outdoor option. The food is not bad. Some preparations are good-specially garlic chicken and chilly chicken.

We went to the Restaurant with our family friends totalling 6 persons. The location is ideal one in North Kolkata just near Townschool at Hatibagan. The famous eateries like Arsalanm Sutanuti Junction, Ghazab, etc are around. Inside the restaurant we found a cozy atmosphere. The outside was not that encouraging but inside was nicely decorated. The garden was under renovation, so we could not have a look.We purchased 3 Groupon vouchers for dining. The menu had both Indian, Mughlai and Chinese selections. The service people were friendly and prompt. The quantities offered were more than normal and we ended in packing the leftover for the home. We took kebabs which were huge in quantity and delicious. We also selected chicken dopiaza, paneer butter masala, butter nan, peas pulao and jeera rice out of the choice other than welcome drink and ice cream. Al the items were sumptuous. The price in the menu was very much affordable. We wish to come back again with more family friends.
