Though the... read more On reaching the old digha beach after more than 17 years , I was surprised. More I was with seeing the WM restaurant alongside CCD (if Im not wrong). Though the menu variety is the same, its the ambience which made the difference. Sitting out ion the off-beach in the sweet breeze and enjoying the sanacks, really awesome and unforgettable experience.

Those fro... read more This restaurant is not able to replicate the original taste of momos, but instead has opted for creating unnecessary variants with irrelevant add-ons. Those from Darjeeling or Nepal would find this attempt laughable. It seems like they are focusing more on gimmicks rather than authenticity. Perhaps one day they will even introduce an egg momo, and those who are unfamiliar with authentic momos from West Bengal may be easily fooled by this commercial tactic. The name "Wao Momo" seems fitting for a place that offers so many different versions of a traditional dish.

The seating in front of the momo station is nice and the servers are friendly, polite, and hospitable. There are many different types of momos available, but my favorites are the chicken, prawn, fish, and chocolate momos.
