What User doesn't like about Three Little Pigs Soul Kitchen:
Biscuits seem to have been made ahead of time, which would have been fine except that they were way too rubbery which I suspect has to do with how they were reheated. The gravy was tasty though and the staff was friendly. The limeade was good too. View all feedback.

A friend and I enjoy the South U.S. cooking and decided to give this place an attempt. I ordered the Gumbo with low expectations (I am from South Louisiana, but was more than pleasantly surprised. It's better than some of the gumbo I've been hunting. As it turns out, the recipe is from the owner's father who lived in NOLA for 15 years. It is chicken and shrimp with a link pork sausage above. It came with corn bread and two sides. The green beans with mushrooms and the roasted Okra were also delicious. The whole plate needed salt, but I'm happy to add. We also had a glass of plastered Okra on the table. All right. To round it off, the sweet tea is legit and comes with free refills. We met Jack, the owner, on the way out. It was his father's place. We are sorry to hear that his father passed last year, but the hope that Jack keeps this place alive for those of us who go through Chiang Mai and need a taste of home. We went with happy stomachs and big smiles!

The pulled pork sandwich and the ribs are really good. The woman tried the cookies and Gravy and was not impressed. Our friend loved the Mexican food, but he's mischievous, so he probably doesn't know a good Mexican. They make their own pickles and they are fantastic. Cheap prices, generous portions and delicious. Our new favorite place for western food in Chiang Mai.
I love the atmosphere here. Staff spoke great English. The menus were funny and the decorations felt like in the south. The food was perfect, just like my family. After I lived in Thailand for a year, it was as if I had been transported back home for a few hours while I was eating here. I recommend it to everyone, especially if you feel a little homesick. Great comfort food!
