The only place for lunch in this residential area of Macau..
This restaurant serves delicious food, and their weekday set lunches are especially appealing. Great taste combined with good value has always been my impression of this place, and the restaurant’s ambiance is decent as well. However, the service quality can be hit-or-miss. Some staff are warm and courteous, while others seem unwilling to say much. I didn’t think much of it until one time when my partner and I ordered an unfamiliar dish. The indifferent staff member showed visible confusion but didn’t mention that the portion size was far too large for two people. This led to unnecessary waste. When I later asked the staff member why he didn’t warn us, he simply replied that he assumed I was a regular who knew the portions well. This kind of assumption is disappointing and could easily have been avoided with a bit more attentiveness. Even with its steady customer base from Ocean Garden, I still hope this restaurant can step up its game and provide service quality that matches the standard of its dishes.
