Very good food at reasonable prices, considering the loaction beside Bangla Road (Walking Street). The menu has a good mix of Thai, Asian, and European dishes. Lots of people eating here but service turnover is fast. View all feedback.
What retriever g doesn't like about Eurasian:
The taste of Lime steam fish is bad. Disappointed. Morning Glory and chicken pandan leaves are bad too. 0 point given to this kind of standard with this kind of restaurant. View all feedback.
My lunch was terrible. If you insist on going, then don't have the Kao Soi northern style curry chicken. The photo in the menu looks exactly like genuine Kao Soi from Chiang Mai (flat noodles, chicken drumstick, lime, light crispy noodles that melt away). The reality on the plate is spaghetti noodles and small overcooked chicken pieces in a curry soup. It's sad. I tried to like it. Gave it a go. Taste is wrong, wet noodles wrong, crispy noodles wrong, chicken wrong, curry soup was entirety wrong flavour and too small. No lime provided. It's a bad dish. No good. When I saw the photo in the menu, I was hopeful. Reality was inedible. I left the meal mostly uneaten, let the staff know how bad it is, paid for it all and left for a proper lunch elsewhere. Wait staff didn't care. Hey, kitchen staff: If you don't have the ingredients for a dish, then don't serve it! This sloppy downgrade was extremely disappointing.
Nice food, super friendly staff, great atmosphere. It was a heavy rain when we visited the place and every time we were about to leave it just started pouring. The staff was joking that we’d sleep here if it went on like that.
I can accept if a restaurant has great food to make up for poor service or great service making up for not so great food. But the food was not great, and the lady boss was only friendly to Caucasian customers. She wiped off her smiles and even frowned with Asian customers, including her own Thai natives. Racism and poor food service aside, the most unacceptable part of this restaurant is dishonesty. We were touted by a guy from her restaurant along the main road (hers was along the smaller lane), and we were told that the salt-grilled/ baked crusted fish we wanted (of which many restaurants in Phuket don't really do anymore) is available when we asked him several times. The guy assured that they have this dish and we were delighted. When we stepped in, the waitress who served us told us they don't have this salt grilled/ baked crusted fish when we showed her a photo of it. We then told her that we were told by the guy who brought us in otherwise, and then she went into the kitchen. She came out and said they have it. I showed her the photo of the dish again and they nodded and said yes yes yes (the lady boss was saying it annoyingly by the way). The fish came out a normal grilled fish with a little salt sprinkled on it, and before we could even say anything she said she had helped to to scrape off the extra salt. This is impossible as the salt would've been coated all over and ingrained into the skin of the fish. We never knew salt baked crusted fish can be scraped off all salt leaving the skin entirely free from it. We know how a salt baked fish looks and tastes like, the flesh was not even infused with salt like how it should; So they blatantly lied to us just to secure the business. The integrity of this restaurant is seriously questionable.
I just finished lunch here. 200 baht for flaky delicious roti bread with satay sauce, pad si-ew and a coke. Absolutely hands down delicious. Best meal so far. Ask for the vegetarian menu!
