Good wine list, quiet atmosphere. At first we were too shy to order food since Marco is both bartender and chef, but he is efficient and the food is good. There are only 9 seats and either you get one or you don’t. We were lucky on a Saturday and Monday night Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Super nice little wine bar. The owner is super friendly and also serves some really good pasta. The wine list is fairly priced with quite a few tempting options. The music is also really good. Went twice and will revisit the next time I’m in Kyoto! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Stumbled upon this bar by chance and it was a gem. 10-seater quaint bar with some food. The owner knew his wine very well and was extremely welcoming. He had amazing attention to detail and served us with utmost class. He has an affinity to French wines, which was awesome. Would definitely recommend. Great experience. Coming here is like going to a private bar. The bar tender was very helpful and friendly to us as English speakers. He was very knowledgeable about Japanese wine. We had a great Japanese white wine and an even better red Bulgarian wine, both of which surprised us enormously. We also got some hot tips on modern japanese music.
