Next to the restaurant is a fish market run by the same owner, where they source their fish from Mito market. As a result, the fish is fresh and lively. On the day of our visit, we started with sashimi of flounder and bonito. The local Minagou junmai sake paired perfectly with the dishes. We also ordered some homemade kimchi for a palate cleanser. Since it was spicy, we washed it down with more sake. Following the local custom, we tried the fried chicken, which was light and crispy. For dessert, we had tea-soaked grilled rice balls with small dried fish. All this for only 4,000 yen - isn't that a steal?

I made a reservation from the contact page on the Google Maps shop introduction page, and I received a prompt and polite reply, which was very helpful. Since it is an area I often visit, I found the location quickly. Facing Route 118 is a fish market, and to the left of that, there is the entrance to a restaurant with a curtain hung. It seems that the proper entrance is from a side street. As expected (due to high review points), the ambiance of the restaurant, the hospitality of the husband and wife, and the freshly prepared dishes were all satisfying. The apple juice we received at the beginning was exquisite. The pear dessert was also juicy and delicious. It seems that both the fish and the cooking methods change with the seasons. It's great to see the focus on local ingredients and consumption. I will definitely visit again in a different season. Thank you for the wonderful meal. November 1, 2020.

The staff were very kind and easy to approach. Eating sashimi in the midst of abundant nature was amazing.
