The cold noodles had a satisfying texture, and the mushroom soba had various mushrooms in a flavorful broth, both of which were delicious. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The interior of the restaurant is simple and clean, with ample seating for wheelchair users. You can also enjoy views of the Kamigamo Shrine and the ducks in the pond from the restaurant's windows, with cherry blossom trees outside that must look beautiful in spring.

After seeing everyone's reviews, I knew I had to try it out during cherry blossom season. This is the first time I've had such chewy soba noodles. It was really delicious! I don't think I'll be satisfied with any other soba noodles now (laughs). I will definitely come back when I crave soba noodles again! Thank you for the meal.

Next to the restaurant is the Takakamo Shrine, where you can enjoy a beautiful view while dining. The exhibits of the historical and cultural museum are located at the back of the restaurant, so you can enjoy the gallery even without dining. Here, you can enjoy delicious soba made from whole buckwheat, which has been popular and crowded with many people since its early opening. Currently, they operate until 2:00 p.m. and close once the soba is sold out. The flavorful and chewy soba is truly delicious. The duck meat used is sourced from the Katsuragi Mountain foothills at the Aigamo Tanada, and the tender meat with sweet dipping sauce is a sensation from start to finish. On the way to the restaurant, I passed through the National Route 30 "Nostalgic Road," where you can enjoy stunning views from the mountains. There are also various popular tourist spots in the area, so you can enjoy sightseeing along with delicious soba, making it a fantastic experience.
