The men... read more Although it was crowded at GW, we arrived around 6:30 in the evening and were second in line. The parking lot is spacious and there are plenty of seats! The menu is extensive, with two sides. The assorted live shellfish is market price, around 3,000 yen per person! If there are two people, you can easily divide it with scissors, so one portion is enough for now! We also added just one popular item, Chotaro, for 350 yen. Chotaro enhances the taste of scallops even more. The colorful shells were still moving on the plate. Be careful when eating them, and it's a good idea to add your favorite shellfish later. The roast was delicious! The tongue salt was thin and firm. The clam rice and clam soup were very tasty. The kind service of the obachan made it easy for even first-time visitors to come in. It was a very satisfying time to eat seafood and barbecue while looking at the sea! The register calculates with a nostalgic abacus, and it's cute when they make mistakes in giving change by mental calculation. This is definitely a place you want to visit again if you come to Kochi.

The service is not top-notch, but the prices are reasonable. The menu prices vary, so be prepared for a bit of a surprise at the bill. The quality of the meat is good and affordable, the seafood is high-quality, and all the dishes are delicious and generous in portion size. Unfortunately, I didn't get to try the Chinese dishes.

The food is delicious and satisfying, and the friendly oba-san staff work efficiently and make the dining experience enjoyable. Their clam rice is tasty, but I also love their fried rice!
