Dōng Lǐ - 東海村

The set meals and drinks at Tohri are more of a tonkatsu restaurant than a traditional set meal restaurant. I have only seen people eating tonkatsu here, but everything is delicious without being too heavy. The cabbage portion is generous and the rice portion is even more so. This time, I ordered the tonkatsu with tangy sauce, which tasted like fried chicken. Topped with plenty of grated daikon radish, I didn't feel bloated afterwards. They also offer bento boxes, which are good value for money.

This is a great value set meal restaurant. The rice portion is almost two cups when you order extra, and the rice is so delicious that you can't help but eat it all.

I visited the restaurant on Friday lunchtime with the intention of having hamburg and shrimp fry, but it seemed that the menu had changed and that combination was no longer available, which was disappointing. I ended up ordering the recommended set meal for 1,450 yen, which included grated fillet cutlet and shrimp fry with extra tartar sauce (+80 yen) and a smaller portion of rice (-30 yen). The meal included a generous amount of cabbage and other vegetables, making it suitable for those looking for a hearty meal. The homemade tartar sauce paired perfectly with the fried dishes. However, I felt that the service was lacking at times, with some staff members forgetting to refill water for customers.

近いのに初めて伺いました。 ボリュームもありました！ ご飯は、女性だと多いくらいかもしれませんが、少なくしてもらう事も出来ます 私はしてもらいませんでしたが 笑 チーズインカツも煮込みハンバーグも美味しかったですが、セットに付いてくる豚汁の大根が味シミシミで美味しかったです！

休日のランチで和風ハンバーグ定食1150円を頂きました。ジューシー感は無いですが、大きくて厚肉でしかも美味しい。たっぷりのオロシもあるので飽きずに食べられます。 他の料理についてもそのボリュームの多さが目に付きます。 豚汁が凄く美味しい。マイルドに仕上がっているけど肉の出汁がしっかり出ていて素晴らしいです。 12時半前お店を出る頃にはカウンター席が少し空いている他は全席埋まっていました。一人でも気兼ねなく利用できそうです。女性客が多く、人気があるのも頷けます。
