Today's review is for Kasuhoku, a Chinese noodle shop that we visited as part of our tour of the Chugoku and Shikoku regions. I had been wanting to visit this place for a long time and finally got the chance. Although there was a long line, we were able to get in after about 20 minutes. The menu only had two options, regular for 700 yen and extra large for 800 yen. I ordered the regular size. The noodles were beautifully presented and looked amazing. The soup was delicious, with a nostalgic and gentle chicken broth base. The noodles were thin and firm, with just the right amount of chewiness. The toppings, including the chicken, were also very tasty. Overall, it was a satisfying and enjoyable dining experience.

The chicken cha... read more The restaurant offers only two types of ramen: large and regular. The clear and beautiful soup with thin noodles is like a picture-perfect bowl. The chicken chashu was deliciously crispy. Be aware that you have to put your payment into a coin holder yourself, so make sure you have enough small bills! I was nervous with only a 10,000 yen bill, but managed to pay in the end. Please be careful when dining here!
