The pickled yakisoba is delicious. I was skeptical about the combination of pickles and yakisoba, but it surprisingly works well and tastes delicious. The specialty pickled vegetable yakisoba in Akitaozato Town is delicious. Instead of regular cabbage in the salt yakisoba, they use pickled Chinese cabbage. The acidity from the pickled Chinese cabbage adds a refreshing flavor to the salt yakisoba. I visited around 1:30 during the Obon period, and although the restaurant was bustling, there were available seats and no long lines, so I was able to enter smoothly.
