By chance, we came across this accommodation (as w... read more My husband and I traveled around Thailand for 1 month, and Koh Samui was, of course, one of our destinations. By chance, we came across this accommodation (as we had nothing planned). This place absolutely impressed us. It's a 3-star, and every day you have perfect cleanliness, clean towels, well-made beds, and fresh linens. Not many people realize, but that's not standard for a 3-star! The owner, manager, and staff—all of them are friendly. The food at the CashewTree restaurant is very tasty. The owner gives you tips on where to ride the scooter and where to continue traveling after check-out. The manager arranged some trips for us and transportation by ferry after check-out. This is definitely not a common occurrence, even in Thailand! My husband and I started our vacation at a 5-star resort, and it can't be compared to this accommodation. I can recommend it for families with children; there's a great clean beach and attractions for kids. At the same time, I recommend it for young couples. Stay here, rent a scooter, and explore. Accommodation is top top top!

I ate dinner there one night during my stay on Samui. The service was very good and the food was excellent. I ordered a pizza with salami. Crispier style crust, very tasty.

If I hate something I just don’t ever go back type of customer. But these people are greedy and I hope their greedy ruin their business to the ground. 1. There’s no parking closer to the hotel for their customers. It’s street parking if you want to park closer to the hotel. They said we can park at secret garden hotel. But that’s a quite a walk if you have a bunch of things to carry and they do not offer any service to help you carry your things. 2. The rooms were pretty bad. The smell from the sewerage was so bad. I asked to switch rooms. They only switched room for me cuz I was asking for a refund. They switched us to another room. Which, still smells. We had to go to 7/11 and bought bleach to fix the problem. I paid them to fix the problem myself. That’s how bad their service was. 3. The beach was ok. Ninja park was the only thing I’ll have something nice to say about. Fun for kids an adults. Pool was ok. We asked for beach towels and they told us they don’t provide beach towels to guest. But it’s ok to use towels in the room. But saw the wait staffs give some guests beach towels. I’m confused about that. They told us no beach towels available, but they have beach towels available. Ok? 4. Food and drinks are ok. 5. The best was trash. It’s clean. I felt particles in the bed. I don’t know what it was. But it was gross to slept in. Especially, with a toddler. Their bedding was old that it has aging stained on it. They could spend $20 to buy new ones for the guests? 6. No matter what happened, you will never get a refund. Some staffs are great. They really tried to help, but ultimately the owner have the final says. And they felt bad they couldn’t help. We didn’t get our refund. We paid almost $600 and only stayed for less than 24 hours because the room was disgusting and the smell was unbearable. Service: 1
