While looking for a place to eat on the way from Yudonosan Onsen to Bandai Atami IC, I passed through Nakanozawa Onsen and decided to search for a restaurant with delicious soba noodles on Google Maps. This place had the best reviews, so I decided to check it out. I was a bit worried if it was okay to drive on this narrow road, but after turning into an alley and proceeding about 50 meters, I found it beyond a weathered sign. There is a spacious parking lot in front of the restaurant, so it is convenient to drive there. I ordered the tempura soba, and as the reviews suggested, the soba was very delicious and I was very satisfied with the variety of tempura. It takes courage to try out a new restaurant in an unfamiliar area, but I'm glad I went to this one.
Located in the middle of Nakanosawa Onsen town, this hidden soba restaurant is tucked away on a side street. The menu includes ramen and rice bowl dishes, but the hand-made soba is exceptional and stands out from the rest.
I ordered the warm soba noodles and found that they were cut shorter than usual, although the taste of the soba itself was delicious. Next time, I will try the cold noodles to see if the length is better. I also appreciated the fact that the warm soba came with soba-yu (soba water). The restaurant had pictures and autographs of celebrities on the walls, so it seems to be a popular spot in the area. In addition to soba and noodles, they also had rice dishes on the menu. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant as well.
