Everything is delicious but the portions are pretty big! Especially the tori-ten (chicken tempura) which I took home. Not just tonkatsu (pork cutlet), but tori-ten, hamburg steak, and curry are also delicious. It's a restaurant that you will want to visit over and over again.
In any case, it's filling and tasty! It's delicious, thick and crispy, with a good volume. It's also good to eat with original sauce or rock salt. I like to add a slightly sweet demiglace sauce for an extra 50 yen. It's about 180-200 grams, I suppose? I also love the tonkatsu from Fujimasu in Miyazaki Prefecture, but this one has even more volume and is cost-effective. Highly recommended.
Lately, my favorite thing to order at this restaurant is a regular tonkatsu set with toppings like grated radish or demi-glace sauce added on. Due to the rising cost of ingredients, they have kept the prices the same but reduced the portion sizes of some menu items like tonkatsu or sirloin. However, it is very disappointing to see the old-fashioned ticket vending machine immediately upon entering the restaurant. It gives the place a cheap feel. Also, I don't like how rushed I feel to decide what to eat once I sit down at the table. I would prefer it if they removed the vending machine.
