I visited the yakitori specialty restaurant Sakura-ya to have a long overdue drinking party with my friends. My friend who loves alcohol seemed satisfied with the lineup of drinks. The Akadori Gote-yaki was quite delicious, with the meat being tender and juicy. It brought back memories of when I traveled to Miyazaki many years ago and had Gote-yaki for the first time, so I was quite satisfied right from the start. The yakitori was also delicious as reputed, but the bonjiri was the best. The karaage was voluminous, yet soft and easy to eat with a soy-based seasoning that made it delicious. We arrived at the restaurant right at opening, but within an hour it was full, proving its popularity. With such a wide variety of menu options, there are still many dishes I want to try, which I am looking forward to for next time. Both the owner and the staff were smiling and provided pleasant service, making our visit enjoyable. I would like to try the hotpot next time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.
The staff's customer service is excellent, and the restaurant is spacious, allowing for a relaxing meal experience. The yakitori is delicious, and there is a wide variety of drinks available. This is a highly recommended restaurant. Currently, due to the pandemic, you can also order appetizers and bento boxes for takeout. The cost performance is great, and you can enjoy the izakaya atmosphere at home.
The grilled chicken is delicious. There is a wide variety of alcoholic beverages available. The prices are not high nor cheap, but rather average.
