Was グルメ帝王 at Jí Liáng Cháng Zǒng Běn Diàn a mag?
I went on a Tohoku expedition and had the seafood bowl again today. The local fish seafood bowl costs 1,700 yen and was filled with plenty of sweet shrimp, crab, squid, and various other types of seafood. I was recommended to mix ginger, wasabi, and condiments with original soy sauce and pour it over to eat. It was delicious in a unique way! The restaurant's name is Kira Jobisan Hon Ten, located at 188 Kojincho, Sakaiminato City, Tottori Prefecture 684-0056. They are open from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00, closed on Mondays.
This is an old-fashioned restaurant in Sakaiminato. The appearance of the store, the layout inside, and the atmosphere give off a very nostalgic Showa era vibe. There is a counter near the entrance, and a bit further in there are tables and tatami seating. The second floor seems to be a lounge or banquet hall, catering to various dining situations throughout the day and night. The menu is based on Japanese cuisine, with a wide range of options including meat dishes, fish dishes, sushi, as well as Chinese dishes like ramen and tofu hot pot. The set meals have a relatively elegant taste, perfect for a peaceful dining experience. The staff are very polite and attentive. The parking lot is located next to the restaurant, but parking can be a bit tricky. There seem to be other parking options nearby. I hesitated to try this restaurant every time I passed by, but once I finally went in, I realized my hesitation was unwarranted. It's a place where I regret not trying sooner.
I visit this area for work every year, and I always have their boxed lunches for lunch at the site. This year, I was able to dine in the restaurant, and I looked forward to it every day. I feel that this restaurant is loved by the locals. The interior has a nostalgic Showa era scent. It is clean and the staff are polite, making it a pleasant place to spend time. Someday, I would like to try other menu items for a private meal. If you are in the area, please stop by. I recommend visiting by car.
