There were many unique fish dishes, but the fried porcupinefish (abasar) was particularly delicious. I was thoroughly satisfied with the exquisite Okinawan cuisine.

It was a weekday but the restaurant was very lively, with people coming and going non-stop and phone reservations constantly being made. I had the set meal and Kumejima soba, and the set meal came with fresh sashimi which was delicious! The Kumejima soba was not only delicious but also very reasonable at 550 yen. It's easy to see why this restaurant is so popular.

I thought of getting grilled shrimp... read more Visited in May 2022 for lunch. I wanted to eat shrimp which I have not eaten for a while before taking the afternoon ferry. I thought of getting grilled shrimp instead of fried, and thought maybe I should have beer with it. Ended up giving in to temptation and had a beer. The taco rice had a large portion of rice and I couldn't finish it all. Next time, I want to try the fried shrimp.
