Everyone says it's cheap, but I think it's about 500 yen cheaper than the usual price. I was able to make a reservation on the day of my visit, even though reservations are required. There is a pond in the garden. I peeked in and saw koi fish, not eels. I didn't ask if they actually keep eels in the pond. However, the eel was incredibly tender and fluffy, better than anywhere else. I thought it must be because they are a specialized store. The sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste, I prefer a bit more salty, but the texture of the eel was amazing. There was no liver sashimi, instead there was grilled liver. The timing of replacing the tea and serving fruits was nice. The staff were friendly and attentive. I definitely want to come back to this restaurant.

After seeing a post on YouTube, I finally had the chance to visit today. I called ahead just to be sure, and found out that they only accept reservations at the moment. I informed them of my arrival time and went to visit. I ordered the high-grade eel dish, which used to be priced at 3000 yen, but now it's 3300 yen. It seems like they have raised the prices a bit. Still, compared to other restaurants, it's relatively cheap? There were three other reservations for today. The sauce tasted a bit too sweet for my liking. It was a shame that after finally visiting, the meal only lasted about 30 minutes. However, looking out at the garden from my tatami seating, I enjoyed a unexpectedly beautiful snowscape thanks to the snow that fell last night. Overall, I felt like I got lucky.
