Was sweet bread at Gé Wèi ān a mag?
I tried the weekend-only freshly brewed coffee Kuzumochi for 800 yen. The expiration date of 3 minutes is serious. It was served as a hot paste more than a dumpling, and it quickly hardened. The espresso coffee filling inside was cold, allowing me to enjoy the temperature difference. It's a dessert that you can't leisurely take photos of, so be prepared!? The parking lot is very large. Authentic taste and texture! I visited "Kuzu no Yakata" on April 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm and tried their kuzumochi for ¥630 and kuzu yokan for ¥630. The kuzumochi was made with Yoshino kuzu, giving it a chewy texture. It was freshly made and served cold on the outside and warm on the inside, topped with kinako. The kuzu yokan had a subtle sweetness that paired well with matcha and was delicious. It was my first time trying real kuzu made on the spot, and it truly felt authentic. Although it may be expensive due to the use of real kuzu, it is worth trying. The restaurant was quite popular and all seats were filled, with some customers waiting in line. They also sell a variety of products inside, so you can buy souvenirs before leaving. I purchased some kuzu tea to take home. The spacious parking lot and elegant facade added to the charm of the place. Overall, I believe it is worth visiting as it is rare to find freshly made authentic kuzu. If you found this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!

After exploring the area for other purposes, I was looking for a place to rest and found a shop that specializes in kuzumochi on the web, so I decided to give it a try. I am not a fan of sweet Japanese snacks, so I chose the visually refreshing kuzukiri. It was my first time trying kuzukiri, and when dipped in black honey, the chewy texture, smoothness, and sweetness of Japanese flavors were a perfect match. What I originally thought would be negative completely changed my mind, and it was simply delicious. I also tried a bite of my partner's kuzumochi, which paired perfectly with soybean flour and had a pleasant taste without being overpowering. It seems that the items are made fresh with each order in the shop, and the freshly made feeling is the best part. Additionally, be aware that the shop closes at 4 pm, so make sure to plan accordingly when visiting.
