The lunch set of A5 rank marbled beef costs 1580 yen. Compared to other restaurants, the portion was quite large (160-170g) and we could also get refills for rice. The sauce was not very sweet, so we added gochujang to make it spicy. View all feedback.
I visited for lunch on a weekday. I parked my bike next to the store and entered. When I told the female staff that I was dining alone, I was guided to a table in the back with a sunken kotatsu. I felt a little sorry for dining alone, but I was surprised to see other solo customers as well. I ordered the Harami set meal for ¥1000. The service was smooth and the charcoal grill and dishes were brought out quickly. I wasn't expecting much from a ¥1000 lunch with meat, but the portion was generous and the taste was excellent. The rice was so good that I found myself getting a free refill without even realizing. The charcoal grill for yakiniku had excellent ventilation, so the smoke was sucked up by the chimney and the smell was not a concern. The female staff were all friendly and provided attentive service. There are about 4 parking spaces in the front, but there is also a large parking lot in the back for peace of mind. To access the back parking lot, enter from the side of Megane Hat, not Daiso. No counter, 12 tables & sunken kotatsu, 20 parking spots.

read moreThis is my first visit to Seikoen restaurant. It was raining on a Friday just before noon, and the 4-5 parking spaces in front of the restaurant were already full, which made me a little anxious. However, when I went around to the back, there was a spacious parking lot, which put my mind at ease. The restaurant was big and lively with local ladies as the regular customers, but I was able to be seated without waiting. The lunch menu was very reasonable, with most items priced at 1,000 yen including tax. I ordered the Kalbi set meal and my companion ordered the Pork set meal. The meat was marinated well and cooked on a shichirin grill brought to our table, a unique style of the restaurant. While sipping on sweet corn tea, our meals were served promptly. The apple vinegar salad, abundant kimchi, and shiny rice (with free refills) were delicious, along with the refreshing sauce and beef bone soup. I was satisfied with the generous portion of meat and am definitely planning to visit again.
