The Kamome Shokudo in Oma. Whenever I stop by Oma, I always make sure to visit this restaurant. The best thing is that they have mini bowls, which are a satisfying portion. It's recommended for women who can't eat too much or for children. Also, there is an ikura bowl. It seems they don't have sea urchin in winter, but I wonder if you can eat delicious sea urchin bowls in May and June? It depends on the catch, but I want to go eat sea urchin bowls! The Oma tuna bowl is also highly recommended!
The photo shows a 1,000 yen tuna bowl. Originally, it does not come with negitoro topping, but there was a mix-up and I received it as a bonus. As you can see from the photo, the thickness of the tuna sashimi is amazing, with a high cost-performance that is hard to believe for 1,000 yen. It was the first time I felt sweetness while eating tuna, and I was impressed from start to finish. The service was polite and friendly, so I would definitely want to visit again when I have the opportunity to come back to Oma.
