Hǎi Xiá Rì Hé Dà Jiān Diàn

I came to the restaurant with two friends because I wanted to try the local dish of miso-grilled clams in Shimokita. We ordered the miso-grilled clam set lunch without hesitation. The dish consisted of grilled clams in a scallop shell with dried bonito broth, miso, scallops, shrimp, and a semi-cooked egg poured over rice. The side dishes complemented the rice well, and we left feeling satisfied both physically and emotionally. I also recommend trying the soft-serve ice cream at this place.

Wow, this diner is really delicious! Let's be honest, a lot of restaurants attached to train stations are mediocre and overpriced, right? But this place is the complete opposite. It's cheap and tasty. The noodle dishes are around 400-500 yen and even the most expensive "Straits Day Special Set" is under 1,000 yen, and the portion size is crazy! Highly recommended.
