Zú Zhé Hēi Cháo Shì Chǎng

Located in Tosashimizu, this souvenir center offers a variety of souvenirs from Kochi Prefecture and nearby. Towards the back, there is a restaurant, and on this day, they were serving Shimizu mackerel. I decided to have lunch here. I started with the fisherman's tea pickled in soy sauce, which was delicious on its own and even better with a dash of broth. The bonito sashimi that came with it was also very tasty. It was my first time trying Shimizu mackerel sashimi, and I was surprised by how fresh and delicious it was.
